Historically rich & beautiful

I have yet to blog about the charming Hotel Le Cep which we stayed at during our trip. Situated in the city centre, the Le Cep was accessible to Beaune’s main attractions. We spent our free time just wondering the meandering streets and getting lost in the quirky shops that sold either wine, accessories for wine, sweets or delicatessen. The rooms at the Le Cep were all named after the different types of Burgundy that you can get in the region of Burgundy. We occupied the Montrachet room and it was quintessentially French in terms of its decor.

Service at the Le Cep was attentive and breakfast was a meal to look forward to in this quaint hotel. Our server would greet us warmly as we stepped into the restaurant. After she made sure we were seated, she would bring out a basket of crossiants and 2 piping hot pots of coffee.
