Merry, Merry Christmas!

tpjoanne_137These gorgeous pictures that we took with Hart at our family photoshoot sure came just in time for the holidays!

tpjoanne_143As I was sorting out the photos, I couldn’t quite decide which ones to pick for the post for they were all captured very naturally. Nothing too posed, just us hanging out with Bubba.

tpjoanne_177This would be Bubba’s second Chirstmas. Her first at 6 months small, she probably didn’t quite understand what all the fuss was about. We gave her the presents and I admit were probably more thrilled in tearing the paper to reveal the presents.

tpjoanne_119And what a difference a year makes. We picked out a bigger Christmas tree and played Christmas carols every evening during dinner time. Bubba bobbed along with the festive songs as she ate her dinner and would be our little helper to turn on the lights for the Christmas tree. When we ask her what does Santa say, she will reply in glee ‘HO HO HO!’ and she could make out the tune of Jingle Bells when I sing the song to her.

As for presents, we left them under our tree and Bubba would sometimes poke her nose in the bag to pick out a gift or two. When I give her the approval to open it, she would tear the paper apart. If the toy/gift is to her liking, she would then pester me to let her play with it. Otherwise, she would put the gift aside, leaving me to pick up the pieces while she run off to find something else more fun for her to do in her little world.

tpjoanne_129Before we run off to our presents and our little Christmas feast, wanted to wish you all a Blessed and Merry Christmas from our little family to yours! 🙂

Happy holidays!!!
