Pimping up my KONK device

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetWith the recent health scare that the Man had, plus me playing Quack Doc and thinking that he had dengue, I decided to take it upon myself to ‘beef’ up our defense against mozzies!!!  Also, since Bump will be arriving sometime in June where ‘Hello heat and humidity in Singers!‘, I’m not taking any chances!

I’ve reviewed the products under KONK previously so I won’t delve into that.  I’ve used the KONK® I with Air Guard (AG) Timed Release Mister around the house occasionally.  The Man doesn’t really like the smell even though the ingredients are natural and the scent is floral.  But hey, smell is individual, so I can’t fault him for that.  In order to ‘maintain peace and order’ in the home, I just use this sparingly and the handheld one more often when he is not around.

Like I said, with the arrival of Bump, I’m not taking any chances with the mozzie situation.  Neither do I want her space to be cluttered with stuff that can potentially harm her.  So, I purchased another can of KONK for protection.  Again, the Man had an issue with the scent.  So what I will probably do is to turn the device on a couple of hours in her room, switch it off approximately 30 minutes before she heads into her room.  That should also work according to Sulin from Our Lifestyle Shop.

And guess what I did to the KONK Air Guard Dispenser?  I simply turned it into a prettier looking device that would sort of blend in with the nursery.  Had washi tape lying around so I covered the white bits of the dispenser and viola, an almost kid-friendly and pleasing-to-the-eye device!  🙂

Disclaimer : lady J’s musings received a KONK® I with Air Guard (AG) Timed Release Mister previously for review and purchased the  KONK® I Flying Insect Killer product on her own.  No monetary rewards were given.  All views expressed are purely of my own.
