No SOUP for you…

IMG_1629Wasn’t going to risk it so we stood quietly in line and made sure we verbalised our order of soup loud and clear.

Processed with VSCOcam with g3 presetThe chicken chowder served was pretty wholesome and even though it was pretty expensive (US$8 a bowl), you gotta love the complimentary biscuits, orange and a chocolate thrown into the brown bag as freebies with the purchase.  Interesting!

Not sure what I’m talking about, then catch this clip from Seinfeld!  It’s my fave clip from the series!

So cute that you “followed the rules” :D. Am thinking of a New York trip somewhere down the road. How many days do your reckon will be enough?

Thinking of bringing Rusty too! Did you see dogs on the subway and are restaurants generally friendly to them?

It really depends on what you’d like to do. I’ve spent almost 5 days in New York but felt like I still have a lot of ground to cover. Didn’t even make it to the museums this time because I was sick. 😦 So, if you can spare 3 days or more, New York will be a pretty exciting place to visit.

As for dog-friendly places, honestly.. I couldn’t recall.. Are most places in the US generally pet-friendly?

        Thanks! 😀

Not as great as Switzerland of course but US is definitely friendlier than back home in Singapore. Most shops don’t really mind you bringing your dog in for a while though some will still have signs telling you not to. Dogs can also go on the subway but carriers.

For restaurants, you will have to sit outside. So maybe I should go in Spring when it’s warmer.
