Expanding my horizons

Yesterday’s lesson was all about expanding my {floral} horizons.  I learned how to do a floral arrangement in a horizontal design.  Boy was it tough.. the circle design learned earlier in the week was like a walk in the park.  This one, however, was rather challenging.

Slowly but surely the arrangement took shape.

Well, it certainly may not look like much not but after adding in the Astor flowers and Eustomas, the arrangement came together.

I guess I didn’t really do a good job in covering the spaces but that was quickly rectified with the use of wax flowers and tea-leaves.

Finally pleased with the arrangement which is now sitting on our dining table for the next couple of days before a fresh one comes along to replace it.  🙂

Next week I get to play with an arrangement using one of my favourite flowers – White or Apple Green Carnations!  Can’t wait!

Hi, may I know how much did the 10-lesson floral arrangement course at Nobleman School of Floral Design cost? Thank you! 🙂
