Capture the Everyday: Something You’re Good At

Capture the Everyday is about getting you to capture those everyday moments in your life! Each Thursday, Mel from Adventuroo will issue a simple challenge to capture something that’s a part of your daily life. It’s a quick, easy way to start capturing those little parts of life we sometimes take for granted.

This week’s assignment: Something you’re good at.

This week’s assignment really got me thinking for I don’t have many little things that I think that I’m good at.  But, if I could narrow it down to just 2 things (an exception this week), then it probably be the attention to details that I pay when we throw small themed- parties for friends at our place.  The Man love having friends over and we do enjoy having a good time with some of our close friends from time to time.  For me, it’s the thrill of dressing the place up according to the theme.

This was for an Independence Day Pawty (with a Red/ White/ Blue theme) that we threw for friends in celebration of our furkid – Sparky – turning one last 4th of July.

Got a meat-loaf for the pooch but the humans to our parties got these yummy-licous Marshmallow chocolate cupcakes decorated with Red, White and Blue ribbons.  Decor was minimal but I chose bright cheery colours and added a tinge of blue to complement the American flag colour themes.

And, if there’s another thing that I can add that I think I’m good at, then it’s probably SHOPPING!  I could walk and shop almost non-stop all day.  Shopping can be counted as a hobby right? 😉
