We’re throwing a party to celebrate new beginnings at Loft 2. This time round, we decided to hire professional caterers (complete with servers) so that we do not have to worry about who’s not getting a drink, running around to see if food is enough or whether the plates have been thrown properly in the trash.
So, basically, from now to the day of the party, I don’t really have much to do. But being the nervous host, I decided I will just focus on the decor for the party (which is going to be kept rather minimal actually). I’m thinking of replicating this petite-four desserts idea that I had previously with Cat at Ristorante Aso. Since I love buying flowers for the loft on a weekly basis, perhaps the theme for my dessert centerpiece will be ‘Sweet beginnings with flowers in the loft.’

Looks fairly simple to replicate right? Just get a vase, fill it with pebbles, throw in some fresh flowers plus put the desserts on a stick and ta-dah! So, attempt I will with this floral dessert idea that I have hatching.
Instead of the various petite fours that I will have to source individually, I’ve been on a ‘cake-pop’ googling trail to find a baker in Singapore to bake these tiny delights for me and I managed to find one! Am now discussing the colour themes for this bite-sized sweets and finalising the order with the baker. Fingers crossed!
Will share more…
