In June 2010, Prada introduced the B.Y.O bag line. For this collection, Prada created eco-friendly bags that are oh-so-chic to tote your stuff around in. I’ve got one and it really is a stylish bag to throw all my shopping in (too many plastic/paper bags definitely gets in the way). Plus, it’s a fun bag to carry when I hit the beach with all my pool-side essentials: Bikini, Shades, Tanning Lotion and Magazines. I also liked that depending on your mood, you probably could reverse the bag and use it in whichever colour you’d fancy.

The boutique is retailing the BYO bag for SGD 410 so if you are getting this bag, you’ll enjoy a special saving of SGD 110.

Prada & a shopping deal for you!

During our recent trip to Tuscany/Florence, I couldn’t resist stepping into Prada where I picked up this Rose Pink Flat Pouch that I will probably end up using as a cosmetic pouch.  I find the nylon pouches from Prada pretty functional for they can almost fit most of my essential toiletries (ie: medication, lip balm, lip stick, small tube of hand-cream, concealer, mirror, etc).  Yeah, I kid you not!  The amount of stuff that I can squeeze inside my Prada pouches are just amazing!  Hmm.. maybe I should do a ‘What’s in my cosmetic pouch’ post one day.

That’s not all! These Prada pouches made of nylon parachute material really last for a long time.  I remember splurging on my first Prada cosmetic pouch 4 years back and till this day, the pouch has faithfully remained by my side.  Plus it’s style is timeless and classic so I never have to worry if it goes out of fashion.
