White Valentine’s ♡

Merry-making with friends as we celebrate Valentine’s Day. How are you celebrating it?

simple pleasures.

Back to basics with these loving dishes prepared by the man:

We had some leftover stock from the Reunion dinner, so we used that and added some miso paste to recreate our favourite なべい (Nabe – Japanese hotpot) speciality.  It’s one of the easiest dishes to make as you literally just throw whatever you have or feel like having into one big pot.

Yesterday’s breakfast was simple Ham and Cheese toast.  But instead of putting the cheese on my toast, I opted to have it on the side with a dollop of truffle oil to bring out the flavour of the cheese even more.  So, I guess my breakfast ain’t so simple afterall.  Hehe.
