The florist was busy this weekend and her selection of flowers did not wow me. So I hopped over the neighboring florist and got these fave Chrysanthemum Pom Poms in bright vivid colours for the loft.

Here’s my stash of books (9 in total, 2 more books in the mail) that I will be reading in the next couple of weeks. With the move to S-land just round the corner, I’m kinda worried on how I should be spending my time. So, I decided to go back to reading. Something that I haven’t done in a while as the world of television/ glossy magazines and surfing the web is far more enticing and exciting. I tend to be a chick lit girl but decided to expand my selection of books. So am trying out a bit of Murakami, Adeline Yen-Ma, Peter Mayle, Gabriel Garcia Maquez for a start. And on days when I just want to indulge in some girlie lit, I’ve got Karen Quinn and Sophie Kinsella to fall back on. Oh and my fave mystery suspense author – Lisa Gardner. This should keep me busy!

Thanks to bookjunkie’s recommendation, I signed up at SITS and was surfing the site checking out other blogs. Came across this new site : Designerwife which I will be bookmarking for future blog-reads. One of her recent posts on ‘Capture the Everyday’ caught my attention and this eventually led me Adventuroo’s site. How fun! I love taking photos with my iPhone and Lumix, and have been wanting to hone my photography skills to capture inspiring shots.
This week’s assignment is ‘A feature you love about your home’.
As we just moved into the new loft, there are so many spaces that I truly love about our home. But my current favourite spot has got to be these white lounge-chairs that we’ve placed just outside our verenda. It’s the perfect spot to rest on for that afternoon tea and watching our dog – Sparky – run around the garden.
