What you could do with your Instagram pix..

I’m a huge fan of Instagram.  So when a friend posted a link to an article on what one can do with pictures taken on Instagram.  This very site caught my eye!  You could turn your instagram pictures into magnets thanks to the brilliant folks at StickyGram.

Picked out 9 pix that I really liked on my Instagram – same are for keeps with others for gifts to friends and family, ordered them and in less than 2 weeks, it arrived!

Loving these little magnets that I’m just placing around the home.

So, if you are a big fan of Instagram, you could also turn your fave pics to magnets using StickyGram! :)   I do have a discount code for friends to share if you would like to order yourself some magnets.  Just drop me a note at ladyj_musings@rocketmail.com and I’ll happy to pass on the discount code.  :)

Spot on

Sporting a new do after the curls went awry during our stay in Geneva.  It was one of the first things I ran off to do upon reaching home – cutting my hair!  Having a short hairdo seriously require a lot of maintenance but I’m used to it.  Hehe..  This time I told my stylist that I wanted a cut that would make my face look slimmer (yes, yes, I’m vain! ;p).  He went on to show me a couple of styles and explained to me further how it will work.  I guess I trusted him enough and he went about working on the cut except that  I didn’t expect the cut to be that short.  But after a few days, I’m getting used to the cut… anyway, it will grow out soon enough.

Also, loving this Marni for H&M polka-dotted top that I picked out for an afternoon of running errands before meeting with the parents for dinner.   It’s fun and cheery all rolled into one!

Yes, I’m back to taking pictures with my iPhone in front of my mirror for Wardrobe Raids.  Hehe..  Outdoor shots will likely be limited to when we head out. ;)

Happy Friday Folks.. hope your weekend will be a splendid one!  xx

Sleep analysed

Am hooked to a new app thanks to my little sister. The Sleep Cycle app promises to wake you up at your lightest sleep state so that you feel relaxed and rested. Think of it as waking up on the right side of the bed so that you have enough energy to last through the day.

I started playing with the app last Thursday and was amused by the analysis of my sleep patterns. Turned out I wasn’t having much of a rested sleep. The analysis also comes to halt once you get up from bed… So if you do answer nature’s call in the middle of the night, you would have to restart the app.

The Man found the app to be rather interesting so he loaned my phone to test-drive the app. Well, turned out he definitely had no problems falling into deep sleep. Hehe.. Check out our respective charts:

This is a pretty nifty app to have. Hopefully in time to come it will tell me more about my sleep patterns.

Ring ring…

Okay, I was mildly tempted when R from the Pleasure Monger did a post on Nostalgia and encouraged friends to join in this unusual meme by taking a walk down memory lane. But I love doing these memes so I pulled out the old albums that Mom had sent over 3 huge boxes filled with loads of photo albums before we moved into the new loft.  You see as the first-born,  Mom spent a lot of time documenting my growth through photos.  The albums were all yellow and aged but I went through each album filled with memories of me and my sisters growing up.

R’s post on Nostalgia was on iPhone, Your Phone, My Phone.  We all have a thing for our phones. I know I do, I’m perpetually glued to my iPhone and it has become the Number 1 important device that I cannot do without! Growing up, I was a chatterbox and Mom would constantly be screaming at me to hang up the phone for I would have conversations with girlfriends that last for over 2-3 hours.  I guess I must have started young for this photo of me picking up the phone and posing for the camera was taken when I was about 2.5 years old.  Hehe I wondered what went through my mind when I picked up the phone, was I pretending to speak to my Dad?  Asking him to come back early, to buy me toys or to bring me out?

I couldn’t resist putting side-by-side a photo of my nephew trying to snap a picture of me using my sis’s iPhone to show how our phones have evolved through the years. In this modern day and age, kids are also clued into the world of technology and you’ll be amazed how fast they pick up on operating these devices.

Want to take a trip down memory lane?  You can too.. just rummage your old albums and see what you can find!  :)
