With almost everyone that we knew flocking down to visit the newly opened Gardens by the Bay, we knew it was but a matter of time that we head on down to check out the Gardens too. But I guess, we had a different agenda for wanting to make a trip down to the Gardens thanks to a dinner reservation scored at Pollen! I’ll whet your appetite a little for the blog-post on Pollen will come later.
First, let me leave you with some pictures that I managed to snap en-route to Pollen:

I’m going to make a trip up there on our next visit!

A small bouquet of Blushing Bride flowers popped in a jam jar (tip: recycle and reuse jam jars as vases for the home
I love hydrageas but their beauty is so short-lived given the warm climate that we live in. Since these Pink and Cream Hydrageas were going on an irresistible offer, I felt like I had to bring them home. So glad I did, looking at these flowers in the room makes me oh-so-happy already!
I liked what I learnt this week – the Inverted T floral arrangement. Didn’t look like much initially but after adding in the leaves and stems, I thought it looked pretty good! What do you think?
This week, I learnt the Asymetrical design in my floral arrangement course. Loving the choice of colours but not so loving the floral layout. Not so sure if I want to replicate this layout again but it’s a good to know.
