What I learnt on my sixth floral arrangement lesson:
The Crescent Arrangement filled with Anthuriums, Pink Roses, Orchids and Eustomas.
I’m not a big fan of Anthuriums but somehow this arrangement worked pretty fine. On to lesson 7!

This week, I learnt the Asymetrical design in my floral arrangement course. Loving the choice of colours but not so loving the floral layout. Not so sure if I want to replicate this layout again but it’s a good to know.
This week’s lesson saw me arranging bright pink carnations in a triangle design. Love the bright pink blooms that are now sitting in the loft. This arrangement is a lot more tricky compared to the first 2 that I’ve learnt. I guess that’s the challenge. Hopefully in time I will improve.
3 down and 7 more lessons to go.
Yesterday’s lesson was all about expanding my {floral} horizons. I learned how to do a floral arrangement in a horizontal design. Boy was it tough.. the circle design learned earlier in the week was like a walk in the park. This one, however, was rather challenging.
Slowly but surely the arrangement took shape.
Well, it certainly may not look like much not but after adding in the Astor flowers and Eustomas, the arrangement came together.
I guess I didn’t really do a good job in covering the spaces but that was quickly rectified with the use of wax flowers and tea-leaves.
Finally pleased with the arrangement which is now sitting on our dining table for the next couple of days before a fresh one comes along to replace it.
Next week I get to play with an arrangement using one of my favourite flowers – White or Apple Green Carnations! Can’t wait!

Dressing up the loft with a cheery hue of yellow florals and just looking at this arrangement set atop on our coffee table ups my happiness quotient by a notch.
