Capture the Everyday is about getting you to capture those everyday moments in your life! Each Tuesday, Mel from Adventuroo will issue a simple challenge to capture something that’s a part of your daily life. It’s a quick, easy way to start capturing those little parts of life we sometimes take for granted.
This week’s assignment: Something you collect
I could think of loads of stuff that I like collecting – bags/ shoes/ toiletries and the list can go on. I think I’m largely a hoarder for I like collecting and keeping them. Well, ain’t the best trait to have… so from time to time, I enjoy decluttering the stuff out of my life.
But for now, here are some of the things I collect:
Accessories – I love how they jazz up a simple outfit and either dress it up or add a burst of fun to it. These are my au-current fave accessories.
Quirky prints! Here are some of the prints that I purchased from Etsy, I love how they transform my plain dressing table into a fun one.
Wanna share something that you collect? Hop on over to Adventuroo to participate in this week’s challenge then.

I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it’s the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It’s probably the most important thing in a person.
There’s just the 2 of us living here in Geneva, so our fridge is very minimally stocked. What we have loads of? Dried goods and sauces that we have shipped over from Singapore to be used in our daily cooking. These Asian ingredients are kind of hard to procure here in Geneva and even if we could get them, they are often more expensive than what we would normally pay back at home.
This was taken during our vacation last August where we just chilled by the beach and watched the sun setting into the azure blue sea. Sigh! Brings back memories.. I so want a beach holiday!
The Man took this in May 2009 when we were in Burgundy as our vehicle moved passed the rolling sunflower fields. Loved how the gloomy grey skies starkly juxtaposed against the backdrop of bright yellows and greens.
The glorious Eiffel Tower in Paris taken in June 2009. It was pretty much a gloomy day and this picture captured just the mixed emotions that I had of Paris then.
Japan will always hold a special place in our hearts for we spent one of the most happiest moments there in 2007. I’ll forever hold close the wonderful memories of the Cherry Blossom season where we got to enjoy the beautiful viewing of Sakura flowers.
