Sunkissed in Maldives

4 glorious days spent in Maldives where we did nothing and everything.  How is that even possible?  Well, it is.. doing nothing is kinda our expertise.  Hehe, we just while the day away basking in the sun on our deck-chairs with our sun essentials (sun-screen, sun-tan oil, books, music, water and beers). I think I overdid the part about basking in the sun for I ended up with a minor sun-burnt on my back.. OUCH!

And the part about doing everything?  I guess instead of spending the entire day in the room, we ended up signing up for activities practically everyday : Diving / Yoga / Massage / Twilight Fishing.  It was indeed a very fulfilling trip for we got to see Manta Rays really up close; the Man had his first foray into yoga where some of the exercises helped his back and last but not the least, we had such an awesome time trying our hand at fishing.  I caught a baby snapper which I promptly released back into the sea, the Man caught 2 medium-sized fishes which ended up being dinner for the night.

So long Maldives, it will be a while till we next see you again. *-*

Thankful

After the rain on Saturday, we are really thankful for the clear blue skies that greeted us when we woke up on Sunday.

So we spent the entire day lazing on the deck chairs and snorkelling when the heat was too hot to bear.
