Tokyo eats: らん月 [Rangetsu]

In the mood for a spot of shopping with Nabe (Hot-Pot) to look forward to at lunchtime, らん月 [Rangetsu] was the restaurant that the Man had picked.

IMG_6425We’ve been here before, all of 4 years ago and the place as well as the dishes were just as exquisite as before.

IMG_6427Not wanting to stuff our faces silly with too much food, we shared the Crab-Meat Shabu-Shabu set as well as the Yaki Shabu-Shabu set.

IMG_6429We swirled the meats in the boiling pot made with konbu stock and doused it with yuzu sauce.  Very gratifying and satisfying in the somewhat cool weather that Tokyo has given us this Winter.

Ooh, I’m hungry! Never tried Shabu – Shabu but my son loves it! I’m really gonna have to try it now!
