This time back to the Ex-Co seemed familiar but a little new too; new faces seen and so new working relationships and friendships to be formed. One of the new but fun things that was implemented by the team on a whim/fancy was ‘Wednesdays Wow’. Basically, a theme would be selected every Wednesday and the idea is that everyone within the team would try to dress according to this theme.
This week’s theme? Stars and Stripes – simply because it was 4th of July.
I was thinking of going to work in a dress filled with stars but looks like my colleague had the same idea. Plus I had a couple of important business meetings and decided the star-printed dress might not go down too well with my stakeholders so decided to play to the theme but with a little subtlety.
Lookie who my other contender at work was! He won by the way simply because I was ‘deliberately’ removed from the polling list that he created. Well, he better share his prize with me then! Hehe…
One more day to the weekend! Have an important event tomorrow but am so looking forward to date-night with the Man and crazy drinks with the fren.
