I remembered somewhat squealing when I saw my first Hello Kitty floral bouquet in Tokyo. For the fun of it, I had wanted to buy a bouquet but restrained.
Fast-forward to present day and I wondered what to get for my mom for Mother’s Day. Thought I’ll get a little creative this time round and decided to make a floral arrangement for my mom instead.
As this was a ‘mammoth’ project and me being a noob at this, I had to enlist my talented florist cousin to help with this project of course. We spent a total of 5 hours to come up with a total of 12 of these floral Hello Kitties. Phew.. it was really hard work but I really hope it brings a smile to my Mom’s, my sis’s and my Mil’s face when they see this little present.
Here’s the heart-shaped bouquet that I made for Mom. Okay, they don’t really look like kitties.. they actually look more like Scottish Terrier doggies but I guess I’ll leave it to their imagination then. I think the ‘eyes’ were a little to far away from the nose so I adjusted them a little closer to one another before presenting the arrangement to my mom.
I gave my mom this heart-shaped floral arrangement with 4 kitties/doggies to symbolise her with us 3 daughters. The sister who’s now a mom of 2 got a floral arrangement with 2 kitties and the MIL who has 2 sons got one with 2 doggies.
And since we had extras to go round, my cousin made a hand-posie for my other cousin and the rest? Sitting in my room of course, along with the remaining white carnations that my brilliant cousin made into this arrangement for the bedside table:
It’s really blooming flowers here at the loft for our moms this Mother’s Day. 
Happy and Blessed Mother’s Day to you, Mummy! (I know you’re reading this!! Hehe!) Plus this was an extra-special day for the sister too because she went into delivery early this morning and we welcomed baby J just a couple of hours ago! Happy Mom’s Day to you Marz!
And I hope you get to spoil your Mom silly on this special day of theirs. And to all Moms out there reading this, a wonderful Mother’s Day to you! ♥

lol!! they do look like a cross breed of hello kitties and scottish terrier. but nonetheless, im pretty sure i will be grinning from ear to ear if i receive a thoughtful bouquet like this =)
