They say when one door closes, another door will open. Perhaps it’s all about timing, about waiting for the right door to eventually open.
How many doors does it take before the right one will open? That I don’t know.
So far, I’ve knocked on 3 doors:
- Door #1: It kinda slammed in front of my face.
- Door #2: Lady at the door stands in front of door, we had a lovely chat but at the end of the day, she says ‘Thanks, but you don’t have what I’m looking for.’
- Door #3: Had quite an insightful chat with the kind gentleman. I actually left feeling kinda hopeful only to learn that I’m not suitable. No other explanation was given.
Crushed at 3 rejections, I move on. Someday, the right one will open. And how do I know that? A couple of little ‘birdies’ told me so… ‘Patience! You just gotta be patient, my friend.’
So I hang on to this advice and move forward..
Hang in there… Only god knows how many doors have been slammed in my face before i got to where i am now. Was so heartened when my current boss told me ‘i am so glad u didn’t join the other firms.’ i believe things happen for a reason. Perhaps the right one is not here yet. Till then, chin up n have fun!
Thanks.. yes, hanging in there…
It will come…
I don’t know what kind of employment you are seeking, but I am puzzled at how you are going to keep a job when you are constantly traveling? Maybe your job travels with you?
Don’t be puzzled.. have managed to keep a job and still travel using my leave.
I guess other countries are better about time off than the USA, only 2 weeks here.
In time, my dear, in good time. As long as you’re trying and thinking about it. Hugs.
Thanks babe…
Hang in there dear. The right one will find you
hugs & I’m rooting for you.
