As you can tell, following our trip from New York/ Boston, I definitely have loads to blog about. I think I’m halfway there, working as fast as I possibly can writing up the posts, all I hope is that I’m not boring all with tales from my travels.
In case you think I’ve been holed up in my room working on the posts, well, I’m not. I try to pack my daily calendar with different activities of sorts – from working out to looking out for jobs and lastly catching up with friends. It’s been good so far but I’m still hoping to land a job soon (like really, really soon if possible? Please?)
And here’s what I’ve been up to in the day for the week – a decadent Japanese luncheon followed by more merry-making. Drinking during the day while others are working can only be fun if you have this crazy bunch of people to hang out with.
I also made a couple of new friends along the way when the lovely S invited me to a sumptuous hi-tea that she hosted in her new home.
Was also glad to have gone with crazy-loving M to catch the Titanic (the Artifact exhibition; 100 years) over at the Arts Science Museum before it sails away from our sunny shores on 29 April 2012. We got a double access pass that also allowed us to view the current Andy Warhol 15 minutes eternal exhibition as well. I won’t spoil the fun for you but it was an interesting afternoon spent learning more about the famed ship-wreck of our times and pop-art plus it has been such a long while since I visited a museum here in Singapore.
It’s kinda fun really… photography isn’t allowed in the exhibit area but you can still goof around with the giant Ferragamo shoe on display. Erm, just don’t let the guard catch you! Hehe..
And I can’t wait to get a jump-start to the weekend first with an afternoon tea-party with one of my fave brands and meeting up with Fashionista Cat and for the rest of the weekend? Mommy’s birthday celebration and then a long overdue meeting with our god-son and dinner with dear friends. I can’t wait!
