Arh Christmas, it truly is the most wonderful time of the year! We are in a foreign land missing our dear ones and friends back on our tiny island (had wanted to say ‘Sunny island’ but I think the weather has been rainy of late). But the festive season has been made extra special because it’s a white Christmas for us. Watching the snow falling outside as we keep ourselves warm inside.
It’s gonna be sort of a quiet one this year without the massive merry-making (with family and friends), the sharing of joy and laughter as we peel open our presents with the clan. I’ll miss that greatly but am comforted that we’ll be back with them next year.
So for now, I’ll indulge in a little gift-giving for myself… couldn’t resist picking up these little presents during our recent Milan trip. At least they’ll keep me busy for now… hehe..
i spent christmas away from home last year and it was hard…but having your hubby with you is going to make it better. stay positive!
