The week is finally over! Woke up to the sounds of rain falling on the roof, kinda wished that I could pull the covers over and continue to sleep in.
Friday’s dress-code at work is usually casual and I probably could get away with this ultra-casual dress if I jazz it up a little.
So that’s what I did! First, I put on a leather belt over my waist to add form to this shapeless grey/khaki cotton dress. Next, added some fun to an otherwise dull look by throwing on a chunky necklace with various tones of blues and greens. And viola, I’m all ready for a fun Friday at work!
Let’s see, I probably wont repeat this outfit for work again as I felt that the length of the dress was a little short. But I’m going to bring this dress over to Geneva and see what I can do with it for Fall. ;p
Belts and necklaces rock. They always make outfits look new/different/put-together and fun. I like how you found a necklace to match the dress.
Yeah.. I love putting on belts over loose-fitting tops to not only give the outfit shape but a different type of look.
