When I happily tweeted that I was going to go to Milan for a short weekend getaway a few weeks back, E from Heavenwildfleur replied and suggested that I go to check out Grom for it’s gelato when we were there.
I was all excited for the tram that we took from our hotel stopped right in front of the Grom store but as we were in need of proper food, I made a mental note to try and remember how to get back here so that we could get our afternoon snack of gelato before we leave Milan.
After our day of shopping, we returned back to Grom only to find a long queue but thankfully, the lines moved fast. So, while the Man went in search of the nearest Tabac store to get our bus tickets back, I waited in line.
When it comes to having Gelato, I usually just share with the Man his portion but while waiting in line, I checked out the divine flavours and decided that I didn’t want to share this time round. So I ordered the Melone Sorbet and Stracciatella combo for him and for myself, I had the Limone Sorbet and Sea-salt caramel gelato. As I bit into the sea-salt caramel gelato, I felt that I was in sugar-and-savoury haven. 
YUMS!
Grom is good! Isn’t it funny how the gelateria Lato G (literally right next to Grom) is always empty while people will wait in 10 minute lines at Grom!
I would totally go for sea salt caramel ….it’s been my go to flavour whenever it’s available.
